Steven Moser

Steven Moser is a UK qualified medical doctor and Consultant Radiologist (MBChB, BMed Biol, MRCP, FRCR) with specialist training in Interventional Radiology that allows him to perform needle/catheter surgery throughout the body under imaging guidance. He utilises all imaging modalities (including x-rays, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI) to make various diagnoses and, as appropriate, operate on a wide range of patients needing specialist treatments.

Steven is an experienced NHS consultant and has been working in this specialty for over 20 years. He is currently based at Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, following a 16 year tenure at The Hammersmith Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. During this time, he has gained the respect of both patients and colleagues, working tirelessly to diagnose and meticulously treat those referred to him.

He has trained, lectured and published within his field of expertise.

Over time, it became apparent to Steven that men with Varicocoeles were treated as if their complaint was trivial. To this end, he has been diagnosing and subsequently treating them by embolisation and has been working hard to simplify and improve the end to end patient journey and experience. This is not a new procedure, but he has been perfecting his technique over many years, resulting in very high overall primary success rates (99%+).

When not busy at work, Steven volunteers with a charity supporting orphans throughout the world (Chair - STOP International). He enjoys travelling (remember those times?!) and cooking. He is honing his techniques on ice-cream and bread, being especially taken by making pizza in a wood fired oven. Feel free to suggest a cooking challenge, he's always on the lookout for something new to master!
